What happens during the operation and what is the treatment procedure?
Firstly, the planned incision is marked in a sitting position and the planned implant position is marked with a felt-tip pen. Once the anaesthetic has been induced, a local anaesthetic is also injected. The anaesthetic is mixed with a drug that causes the small blood vessels to contract locally. This minimises bleeding during the operation.
After the skin incision, the required cavity is created for the implant. This is crucial for the subsequent result. The implant of the desired size and shape is then placed in the breast. With the patient in a half-sitting position, our plastic surgeon checks whether the resulting breast shape appears natural and aesthetic.
In most cases, a drain is inserted through which the wound secretion is sucked out for one to two days. The wound is then closed in several layers with fine sutures. The operation is performed under general anaesthetic and takes about two hours.
Choice of implant
The operation should lead to the best possible result, which is why the procedure is preceded by very careful planning. We prefer microtextured implants with a minimally roughened surface. The silicone shell is filled with the latest generation of high-quality, cohesive silicone gel, which cannot leak.

Transplantation of fatty tissue
The filtered fatty tissue is injected into the breast through tiny incisions in the skin using thin cannulas in different layers. The fat is injected into the subcutaneous fatty tissue, behind the mammary gland and sometimes also into the pectoral muscle. Fat cannot be injected into the mammary gland itself. The operation takes two to three hours and can be performed under twilight sleep or general anaesthetic. We recommend one night in hospital.
