Abdominoplasty

After severe weight loss or pregnancy, the prolonged stretching can cause severe damage to the abdominal wall.

This can cause the abdominal wall to lose its elasticity and therefore its original shape. The abdomen then appears without elasticity and hangs on the body like a sagging apron. Diets and exercise are of little help here. In such cases, a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is the only reliable treatment option.

During tummy tuck surgery, excess skin and fatty tissue are removed to make the abdomen look firmer, slimmer, younger and healthier. Find out more about tummy tuck surgery:

Brazilian Butt Lift

If the buttocks are too flat and do not have good projection, a "Brazilian butt lift" can lead to a significant improvement.

With the "Brazilian butt lift", liposuction is performed first. The fat is then processed and injected into the buttocks using thin cannulas.

Liposuction

Liposuction is suitable for women and men who are annoyed by isolated fat deposits.

This can be the case in various parts of the body.

In women, the thighs (outer and inner saddlebags), the hips and the knee region are usually affected. However, liposuction is also possible in other areas, such as the abdomen, back, upper arms, ankles and chin. The problem areas in men are mostly on the stomach, hips and flanks.

A basic prerequisite for the success of liposuction is that the skin in the corresponding areas can regress sufficiently. Dr Kania can determine whether this is the case during the preliminary examination. Find out more about liposuction:

Buttock lift

A buttock lift is necessary if the skin in this area is sagging.

The causes are frequent:

- Excess skin due to the ageing process
- Condition after extreme weight loss
- Naturally weak connective tissue
- Flat bottom with loose skin

Intimate surgery

Intimate surgery can help women who are unhappy with the appearance of their intimate area.

This concerns, for example, excessively large or asymmetrical labia minora and/or the clitoral hood (labia reduction, clitoral hood reduction), underdeveloped or sagging labia majora (autologous fat augmentation, labiaplasty), an excessively large mons pubis (liposuction) or physical orgasm problems (clitoral displacement, G-spot augmentation).

Skin

Unsightly changes to the skin such as scars, age spots or moles can be an aesthetic problem that can be corrected with surgery. Particularly on the face, such changes can be a psychological burden for the patient.

Some scars can also cause a functional limitation.

But even if your health is at risk due to benign or malignant skin tumours, modern aesthetic plastic surgery offers convincing options for reliably removing damaged tissue and achieving an optimal aesthetic result at the same time. Find out more at:

Lipoedema

Lipoedema is probably a genetic condition that almost exclusively affects women. The disease often begins during puberty, pregnancy or the menopause. Patients usually have a slim upper body and develop voluminous, often painful fat pads on their upper and lower legs. Sometimes the arms are also affected.

The fat distribution in lipoedema differs significantly from the fat distribution in overweight patients. This is why it is also referred to as a fat distribution disorder. Find out more about the surgical treatment options:

Mommy Makeover

Mommy Makeover is a term from the USA that describes the correction of the undesirable consequences of pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding that many women suffer from.

This usually involves shrunken or sagging breasts, enlarged areolas, abdominal wall weakness often with sagging skin and stretch marks, umbilical hernias, disturbing fat pads and unpleasant changes in the genital area.

These procedures aim to restore women's self-confidence and well-being. Many women report an improved attitude to life and a positive change in their body image after a mommy makeover.

Sweat gland suction

Sweating is a necessary function of the body to regulate body temperature.

Excessive sweating without adequate heat stimulation can lead to a considerable impairment of quality of life. Hyperhidrosis occurs most frequently in the armpits (hyperhidrosis axillaris). The affected patients often only wear dark-coloured clothing and often have to change blouses or shirts several times during a working day. They often have a long history of unsuccessful treatment attempts with special deodorants and the like.

While hyperhidrosis of the armpits can be treated well with a special agent or suction, excessive sweating of the hands (hyperhidrosis palmaris) can only be treated with a special agent or the sclerotherapy of nerve nodes by a thoracic surgeon (thoracic sympathectomy).
