Chin correction
If the shape and size of the chin does not harmonise with the rest of the face, surgical correction of the chin may be of interest. The most common problems in the chin area are the typical double chin, a receding chin, i.e. a chin that is too far back, or a protruding chin that is too large.
Surgical correction of the chin area can significantly improve the overall facial expression and profile by surgically lengthening or shortening the chin. Liposuction and the removal of excess skin in this area are also possible. You can find out more about the options for correcting your chin here:
Eyelid correction
The change in the upper eyelid commonly known as "drooping eyelids" makes eyes look dull, old and tired. People with this impairment often look years older than they really are. But sunken eyebrows also give the face a tired look and can lead to so-called pseudo drooping eyelids.
Bags under the eyes and dark circles under the eyes can further emphasise this impression. With such an impairment of the eyelids, you often look as if you have been partying all night, even if you are fully rested. This problem can be corrected with eyelid surgery. The operation requires a great deal of skill and experience, often leads to an astonishing change in the entire face and visibly rejuvenates the eye area. This can be corrected with eyelid surgery (also known as blepharoplasty).
Modern surgical methods have been refined, particularly in lower blepharoplasty, to achieve a long-term youthful result. Whereas in the past some skin and fatty tissue was simply removed, today the inner structures are also completely remodelled.
Dr Kania has been performing modern lower blepharoplasty (with "arcus marginalis release") since 2001 and has perfected this technique. You can find more information on eyelid surgery here:
Lip injections
In particular, the size, volume and shape of the lips play a major role in their visual impact.
Large, full lips are often perceived as sensual and attractive.
We can correct the appearance of your lips with lip correction or lip injections.
Rhinoplasty
Correction of the nose is appropriate if the shape and size of the nose disrupts the harmony of the face or if nasal breathing is impaired. The nose can be altered in length, height, width and size and can also be straightened. It is also possible to reduce the size of the nostrils and model the tip of the nose.
If possible, a nose correction should only be performed after bone growth has been completed. You can find more information on rhinoplasty under:
Ear correction
Ear correction is appropriate for protruding ears and deformed auricles, but can also be used to reduce the size of particularly large ears.
The operation can be performed in childhood, usually between the ages of six and fourteen. Ear corrections are also frequently performed in adulthood.
